Beckham of the Baize

He was quite a ladies man was Paul Hunter. But best of all he was a terrific snooker player.

He had battled a rare form of stomach cancer for almost 18 months. Just to show how much he was respected on the curcuit his fellow professionals lobbied to the powers that be that Paul's World ranking of 34 be frozen until he was fit enough to return.

When i turned on Sky sports Newsthis morning at 6am i was genuinely saddened to hear of his death.

Like Paul , i am also a Yorkshireman (slight coincidence i know)
Like Paul i am married
Also like Paul i have a very young child. He left a 10 month old baby girl.
This saddened me alot , especially the kid.
I will try Faye i promise. Just in my own time.
